Providence Place was conceived with the thought of giving men a safe environment to begin the process of living a sober and spiritual lifestyle. Our belief is men that are attempting to live by and work at the spirtual principals laid out in the twelve steps of A.A., will have a strong chance of long term recovery.
Growing and Prospering
We exist to try to provide an affordable environment that will foster men living with us to grow and prosper. With a monthly cost of around $850, Providence Place allows residents to work local jobs while enjoying the accomplishment and responsibility of paying their own rent. The idea is to help these men become integrated back into society, to help them feel a part of the world that they used drugs/alcohol to escape from. By living and working around other men with like goals and ideals, we believe they will begin to see the fruits of true recovery from drugs and/or alcohol. Recently, in 2021, Providence Place added a 1 hour financial group to the program. The goal of the financial group is to learn how to practice the principles we learn in 12-step work to our financial responsibilites.
